Disneyland Adventure, Part 2

Our Second Day In Disneyland

With our Annual Dream Passes we could start our second day in Disneyland early, two hours before the normal opening time. We had made a plan to be at the gates before the opening, so we could be first ones to get in and have good pictures near the castle when it's not yet so crowded.

 Let me in!! :'D

When the gates opened we ran! And we were not the only ones :)

Though there were many other early birds, it was still so peaceful and spacious. It was wonderful to see Disneyland also this way; only in a little while the way to the castle would have been really crowded.

We wondered around the castle grounds taking pictures. It was good to have two kinds of shoes; ones for running and ones for posing :D

This morning was one of my favorite moments of our adventure. We had so many hours to be in Disneyland that day, we could go rides in the morning before there was long ques and it was almost sure that we'd get the princess meeting because we could go to the queue before the regular opening time. And there was still many days to come! So with no panicking or hurry, we could enjoy our time in Disneyland.

First ride we tested was Lancelot's Carousel.

I loved it! I'm a huge fan of carousels and this was by far the best one where I'v ever been. Though my pony didn't look so happy he was still nice.

We were almost the only ones in the carousel!

It was nice view from Dumbo The Flying Elephant.

And then it was time for Mad Hatters Teacups!

I think we look like we belong in those teacups! :D Could we somehow have those at home too?

 Wooow a castle! :D

Wooow a prince <3

After some more pictures we went to Peter Pans Flight, that was a beautiful ride above London and Neverland. Then we tried to enter Adventureland but that part of the park hadn't opened yet. So next we went to get fast passes to Space Mission 2 in Discoveryland, and then it was time to head for Princess Pavilion ticket queue.

But on our way we met Suzy, one of Cinderellas mice friends! She was so cute and I got an autograph and a hug <3

There still wasn't so many people in the queue when we arrived, so we got quite early appointment to Princess Pavilion. We still had few hours before that, so next we went to use our Space Mission 2 Fast Passes...

I can't stop admiring how amazing these roller coaster in Disneyland are. We have nothing like this in Finland. I think Space Mission 2 is almost as fierce as Rocking Roller Coaster Avec Aerosmith that we tried last year. They are quite similar, but Aerosmith roller coaster is still my favorite one of these two :)

And posing again, we went to check the grounds of the Cinderella restaurant where we had made a reservation for the next day. I almost couldn't wait, but next day was going to be our one year dating anniversary, so that was a good day to go eat in a little more fancy place. This carriage outside the restaurant was so beautiful!

Then we met Merida! She was great! It was really nice that you could meet a princess also somewhere else than Princess Pavilion, especially when not everyone gets the tickets.

We met Merida in Adventureland that had now opened, and it truly was worth the two hours we spend in the queue. She is awesome!

After meeting Merida we already needed to hurry to princess pavilion..

Cinderella was there waiting for us!

How lovely she was! (Of course she is real Cinderella, but I just need to say; that must be the coolest job in the world!)

She gave me an autograph too :)

After meeting two princesses in a row we started to be really hungry. Near the Princess Pavilion was Pizzeria Bella Notte that served pizza and lasagne. It was fast and good food with a little lower budget.

After eating we had energy to go test some more rides, and I think the next ones were my Princes favorites!

We helped Buzz Lightyear to defeat the evil emperor Zurg. And we succeeded!

Look at this happy face when we were about to go ride some cars!

I'm sure that this Autopia is the ultimate favorite of all the little princes.

Or maybe this Star Wars Jedi School.

Then we went to see the Disney Village, part of Disneyland we hadn't even noticed last year. It was a bit more adult place, you could find more clothes for adults too and there were restaurants and bars. We saw also that there was a Wild West Show and Hot Air Balloon, where we wanted to go later.

After we had walked through the Disney Village, we visited the other park; Walt Disney Studios. It's not so princess like place, but there is more about the movies and animation, and some cool rides!

Like The Tower Of Terror! This is quite scary one, not for the smallest.

Princess dresses for my cousins! :)
After screaming in Hollywood Tower it was already quite late, so we decided to do some shopping and then leave so we could get some rest and be at the gates again the next day before the opening time.

Outside the Disneyland, last pose before leaving.
Well, that was a good plan. When we got to the train station, it was closed for some reason that the two workers outside the doors couldn't explain, at least not in English. They pointed us the bus station where we tried to understand something about the schedules and maps, which all, of course, were only in French.. After we had wondered some time the Disneyland closed, and a huge mass of people came to the train station only to realize that it was closed. Then they came to the bus station and a some kind of hysteria began. I don't think anyone knew what was happening, there didn't seem to be any buses, and line to the taxi was really long, though there were no taxis either. And you could only imagine how many people there were.
At some point one bus came, but it didn't even reach the station because people run towards it so it couldn't move anymore. I think that was really rude, especially when there were families with little children who couldn't run and they would have needed to be the first ones to go.
I think that was the point when we decided that we're not going to take this anymore, and decided to go find some park where we could sleep.

"Now if only I can find a place to rest my head for the night." "What kind of place?" "Maybe a nearby meadow or a hollow tree. " -Giselle and Robert
Yes. We slept in a park. We planned to use our two hours before the regular opening time in Disneyland next morning, and after 10 go quickly to our hotel in Paris center to change clothes and then come back. We had some rain coats that we spread in the ground, and an umbrella that we opened and put our bags under it in case of rain. Luckily it was a really warm night. We noticed a gas station near the park, where we went to buy toothbrushes and some snacks.

We had a really nice view, this is one of the Disney hotels that were way over our budget..
I don't know about you, but for me this sounded like an adventure, and as a Disney fan I was actually quite exited! It was about 2 am when we went to sleep and I said to my Prince "Happy anniversary"; we were going to celebrate it the next day.
I lied down watching the night sky and felt actually quite lucky. I was near the Disneyland, having adventure in the great wide somewhere with some one who is as adventurous as me. Little did I know that the next day was going to be the best day of my life (so far).
