It's my birthday and I'm going to Disneyland!!

Wuhuu!! Our bus from Tampere to Helsinki-Vantaa airport left few minutes ago, and I'm starting to be really exited. I'm not so exited about the fact that it has been my birthday for 1 hour and 45 minutes now, but there is no better way to cure age crisis than going to Disney. And I know, that even when I'm 80 I still would love to go, so age doesn't really matter.

My Prince with his new haircut at the bus station :)
We have had a lovely holiday after the Christmas party at the theater, first we visited my princes mother and then my family in Oulu. We were lucky to have white Christmas there, it really wasn't obvious everywhere this year.
Most of the time we were just sleeping and eating well, but we also spent time with family and friends, and I think that is what Christmas is really all about.

I wasn't taking so many pictures, but here is few I took before our holiday that have a Christmas spirit. They are from Stable Yard, one of my favorite places in Tampere. So these are bit older, but I want to share them with you because they include cute animals.

My old pal, whom I call Philippe, is always so hard-working. And cute. And smells so good that after petting him you never want to wash your hands again.

These sheeps <3 They were all lovely but this one was really enjoying of the attention :D

And a little donkey <3 too cute.

Mmm chocolate! (In animal shapes)

And after saying the family and friends are the most important thing about Christmas, the only pictures I took on our holiday are about presents :'D

This one was of course my favorite because it's from my Prince. It's a bit manly way of packaging, but It's perfect with the princess wrapping paper <3

I got so many wonderful presents that it was almost too much. Thank you Santa(s)! :) By the way, It's interesting how you learn to appreciate socks as a present when you are older. It's a perfect gift really! :D

My little cousins also visited us on Christmas, and we had a photo shoot! Here is me as Snow White and my cousin in her Belle princess dress. The cutest! Sorry about the quality of the pic, I just took a picture of the cameras screen on my phone.
There is a particular reason why we took these photos, and I have been really exited about it! Maybe you can guess what that is from the photo, but I will reveal it after our trip... :)

Now we are starting to be close to the Airport, where we have a little time to take a nap before our flight to Paris. And at midday, we are maybe already in our Disneyhome <3

Best! Birthday! Ever! :)

Christmas Party/ Royal Ball

At the end of the year, the two biggest theaters in Tampere, "Tampereen Teatteri" and "Tampereen Työväen Teatteri" (that's where I'm working) have a Christmas party together.

So what that really means, in a princess point of view, is that its a change to dress up!

This year it was Tampereen Teatteri's turn to be the host. I was happy about it, because now we had a change to spent the evening in this beautiful beautiful old building, that really makes you feel like you are in a real royal ball.

So grab your Prince and lets go see what's happening inside!

We thought that we are a little late, but even my make-up artist colleques hadn't arrived yet. So we had time to drink some mulled wine before the traditional Christmas show.

The show was really fun, though I didn't understand all the jokes because they were mostly parodies of the plays both theaters had showed that year, and since this autumn has been a little hectic we really haven't had time to go to theater. It's still hard to believe that this year is about to end and after this party we will have some time just to relax. Wonderful.

We had a lovely dinner, I must admit that I was really hungry since I had gone straight from work to dress up and then hurried to the theater. And you can never go wrong with a chocolate dessert. At first I said that they weren't so tasty but I ended up eating quite a few. So I take it back.

This beautiful princess in white outfit is my workmate from the theatre. I just love her style! People were saying at the party, that we look like we are from the same fairytale :D

After dinner we had a moment to pose in front of a Christmas tree.

In my outfit for the party I was trying to channel Elsa from Frozen. The dress from Angel-Secret is Elsa inspired, and I was trying to have that same style in my hair, make-up and accessories, still not being too accurate. I think I succeeded, because many people came to tell me I remind them of Elsa, and I didn't even have to sing Let it go.

Though my outfit was Elsa inspired, I wore (fake) Jimmy Choo's Cinderella slippers, but I think these did fit with the rest of the outfit well. That "glass" decoration could also be a snow flake too, right? :)

We had a great party that lasted until late in the night, and at some point there was some hero trying to fit other of my "glass slippers" to me, but he didn't succeed :D At the end my Prince was the only one who could make it fit. So maybe it's not really about the shoe, but about who is fitting it :)
Happy Holidays to you all!

Disneyland Adventure, Part 6

I'm just saying, I should have built the snowman when I had the change! There was snow only for couple of days and then it melted. Ever since it has been so dark and raining almost all the time. Still dreaming of white Christmas.. :)
I must admit, this long autumn and busy work days are starting to get me. Still I'm so exited that the Christmas is coming, it's really the most magical time of the year. And also, something is going to happen at the end of the year, on my birthday, that really helps me keep going! :) I will reveal what that is at the end of this post!

Now it is time to return our last summers Disneyland adventure one more time...

This is only picture from our hotel room that I have, but there was really not that much to shoot. At least we didn't have bed bugs like last time! :D Anyway, these are always so bittersweet moments, realizing that the vacation is coming to it's end, and we must leave...

But after leaving our hotel we still had time to go Disney before our flight!

One of the things we still really wanted to do at Disneyland was this hot air balloon ride. Luckily it was now open!

This was really fun, because you could see up there how huge this place really is! And it was also intresting to see the areas near Disneyland...

The hotels look amazing!

And yes, that is a parking lot behind that hotel! That is just crazy, it's so full...

This picture will give some perspective how long the distances really are! Sleeping Beauty's castle is so far away... Balloon ride was so wonderful thing to do on a last day, because you could admire everything at once, and really take a picture in your mind of this beautiful place for those long dark autumn days..

Style for the last day; Cinderella inspired easy bun, and my favorite dress from Angel-Secret that I already wore couple days before. Actually, when I was packing we didn't know yet that we are going to buy the annual passes for Disneyland, so we hadn't planned that we are going to visit Disneyland briefly also on the last day. So I was one princess dress short! :D But it's ok, I was happy to wear this one again.

Then it was time to go eat!

We tested the buffet style restaurant, "Restaurant des Stars", and it was really good! Many kinds of options. And these desserts... <3

Ok maybe this was a bit too much, but I just had to taste everyrhing...

We still had time to do one last thing, so of course we had to ride our favorite rollercoaster one more time! Then it was time to leave, and I can honestly say, I really don't remember how that felt. Maybe I have blocked it out of my mind somehow.

Bye Paris... Bye Disneyhome...

But I remember when we came home in Tampere, I was so happy. Our time in Disneyland had been everything I could have hoped for, and more. So much had happened, and so much beautiful memories..

It has been kind of bittersweet to write these posts about Disneyland, because it's making me miss my Disneyhome. I had been afraid about writing this last post, but now I'm so happy, because on my birthday we are going to be in Disneyland again!!! :) I can't wait!

The Day of Art, Chocolate and Princesses

Hi! We have been attending to a painting class with my Prince this autumn, and it has been wonderful! Though I only finished one painting, I'm still pleased for I have been dreaming about painting so long, and now I finally finished my first one! :) Maybe one day I will be as multi talented as Rapunzel, but this is a good start!

My painting is the one in the right, and my Princes is one in the middle.

There are so many great painters in our class!

This was our last class this year, and we are definitely signing up for spring class.

This is our painting posse! :D Such wonderful and talented people. For celebration of our last class this year, we had a Christmas party. That was a lot of fun.

When I got home from the party I was so in Christmas mood, that I just had to start doing some Christmas cards. I decided  that I wasn't going to buy any new materials for the cards, but use anything I could find from home.

I remembered the Princess magazines I bought from second hand store a while ago, and looked for ones that were winter or Christmas themed.

And of course you need to have  chocolate while doing Christmas cards! These are my favorites...

I decided to go for a quite simple design. I found lovely pictures from the magazines, and some red carton, and I think that is all it needs. :)

Chocolates have disappeared, but the cards are almost done. :)

Merry first day of December to you all!
